Welcome to the Sri Lankan Association of North Texas (SLANT)

Celebrating Our Culture • Building Our Community • Making a Difference

The Sri Lankan Association of North Texas (SLANT) brings together Sri Lankans and friends of Sri Lanka living in the Dallas–Fort Worth area to celebrate our shared heritage, culture, and values. Our mission is to foster unity within the community, strengthen cultural connections, and create opportunities to give back—both locally and globally.

Thank you for your support!

We Always Receive All Your Help

Together, we can create a brighter future for our community and beyond.

Social Activists From All Regions

SLANT organizes cultural events, educational programs, and charitable activities that aim to empower our community. From festivals celebrating Sri Lankan traditions to fundraisers supporting local and global causes, our initiatives are designed to foster connections and create positive change.

We celebrate the rich heritage of Sri Lanka through various cultural events, including traditional festivals, music and dance performances, and culinary showcases. These events foster a sense of community and provide opportunities for members to connect and share their culture with others.

We believe in the power of education and offer programs that support learning and development. From workshops and seminars to youth mentorship initiatives, we aim to empower individuals with knowledge and skills that will benefit them and our community
